Where: Flint RiverQuarium and Thronateeska Heritage Center
When: Every Wednesday for 6 weeks from February 8 through March 14
Cost: $50.00 per child
Times: 2 pm through 4 pm
Ages: Kindergarten through 6^th grade levels.

Come discover the weather and environment in a whole new way at the Flint RiverQuarium and Thronateeska Heritage Center. Explore the seasons and cycles that constantly change our planet as it remains essentially the same. Study how Earth’s habitats change through the seasons, weather patterns, life cycles, and more. Each week we will explore, investigate, describe, experiment, and observe the constant unpredictability, yet always the same seasons and cycles.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will you be discussing Evolution? We do not mention or discuss evolution in our programs. However, some of our Imagination Theater movies and Planetarium Shows reference evolution.

Where can the parents stay while children are in session? We ask that you do not accompany your child to the sessions as seating is limited. Parents can visit the gift shop, wait in the lobby of the Flint RiverQuarium or outside the facility. Also, you may want to visit Turtle Grove Park and the adjacent Riverfront Trail while you are in town.

Can siblings be present in the session? Siblings younger than Kindergarten level and older than 6^th grade level will be unable to sit in on sessions while in progress.

Do parents have to stay with their registered child? No, as long as we have a copy of the completed waiver form for your child, you do not.

Where is pick up and drop off located? Please pick up and drop off your child(ren) at the main lobby of the Flint RiverQuarium.
