All school field trip reservations are first-come, first-served. School groups are required to make a reservation for 15 or more participants.

The Flint RiverQuarium subsidizes school visits by reducing the price of admission to school groups. Therefore, memberships do not apply when school children visit with a school group. Adult chaperones (parents and non-paid school staff) may use their membership, but not the student. If school does not pay for chaperones, individuals will be charged a chaperone fee.

Summer children's group rates are as follows:

June 1-August 15: RiverQuarium only $5, Combo ticket $9

Provide us with any special needs information about your students or classes. For example: bringing lunches, wheelchairs, learning level, language, etc. Our facility is wheelchair accessible to better serve you.

Other Important Information for you to remember:

• Please inform Guest Services of any known time constraints before you arrive. For example: travel time, bus tardiness, early and/or late arrival, etc.
• Please make sure the bus driver has directions and is familiar with our facility location.
• It is very important to be prompt. This will ensure you and your students a great experience.
• It might be necessary for your group to be broken up into smaller groups. The Guest Services manager will direct you in these instances.
• There is ample bench seating for lunch breaks outside adjacent to our facility in Riverfront Park and Turtle Grove Playground.
